Copyright and DMCA

If you believe something on Total Vault infringes your copyright, tell us. We respond to notices that follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

In plain English
Send a notice to our copyright agent. We remove or disable access to the file, tell the person who uploaded it, and they can send a counter-notice if they think we got it wrong.

1. Our copyright agent

Total Weddings LLC
Attn: Copyright Agent
8 The Green # 23014, Dover, DE 19901
copyright@totalvault.ai

2. Send a notice

A notice must be in writing and include all of these:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (or your authorized agent’s).
  • The copyrighted work you say was infringed, or a list of works if there are several.
  • Where the material is on Total Vault: the link to the gallery, share link or file.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). If you’re not sure a use is infringing, consider asking a lawyer first.

3. What we do

When a notice is complete, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the account that uploaded it, including a copy of the notice. We may share your name and contact details with them so they can reply.

4. If your file was removed: counter-notice

If you think the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send us a counter-notice with:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • The material that was removed and where it was before.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for that address (or, outside the U.S., for any district where Total Weddings LLC can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.

We pass the counter-notice to the person who complained. If they don’t tell us within 10 business days that they’ve filed a court action, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.

5. Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who are repeat infringers, as described in our Acceptable Use Policy.
