Set up your Vault in 10 minutes.

Head to app.totalvault.ai/signup and sign up with your work email, Google, or Microsoft.

Every Total Vault account starts free— 5 GB to try every core feature. You won’t be asked for a card.

If you signed up with email, pick a password and you’re straight into your Vault. (Google and Microsoft sign-ins skip this step.)

In Vault, click New in the sidebar. Give it a name — usually the client, the event, or the project — and an optional date. Projects are how Vault keeps everything organized; you can search and share at the project level.

Some naming ideas:

• “Abigail & Noah · April 2026” — for a wedding
• “Reyes Family · Fall 2024” — for a family session
• “Aerie SS26” — for a brand campaign

Drag a folder (or a memory card) onto the project. Vault uploads each file in chunks, double-checks every one landed safely, and resumes if your connection drops.

You’ll see a progress badge per file. Once everything turns green, your archive is safe.

From Settings → Members, invite your team. Each workspace member is one of two roles:

• Admin — manage billing, members, and settings
• Member — full read & write across every project

Need to give someone access to just one project? Share it with them as a Viewer (look and download), a Contributor (also upload and rename), or a Manager (full control) — no seat required.

Click Searchin the sidebar and type plain English: “first kiss at golden hour,” “Reyes family fall,” “every detail shot from May 2024.”

Results come back fast. Single-click to select, double-click to open, and download anything you need.

That’s the whole onboarding. Everything else — sharing, brand customization, deeper team controls — is in Settings whenever you’re ready.
